1. Service Description

plyx.ai is an AI-powered platform that allows users to create and illustrate personalised books.

2. Account Registration

You may browse the site and view public books without an account. However, to create, purchase, or download a book, you must register for an account.

3. Payments

All purchases are processed securely via Stripe. We charge per order, not by subscription.

4. User Conduct

• You must not automate interaction with the site or its AI models, except for permitted crawling as defined by our robots.txt.
• You must not upload or attempt to generate illegal content under Norwegian or your local laws.
• You must not upload any illegal images or violate copyright laws.

5. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for any loss arising from downtime, system maintenance, or third-party services such as payment processors or analytics providers.

6. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time. Doing so will permanently remove all created books, purchase history, and stored data.

These Purchase Terms & Conditions ('Terms') are between you and Incremental AS, trading as plyx.ai, Bankveien 21A, 1362 Hosle, Norway. By completing checkout you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Personalised Product – Final Sale

Because every book is custom-made for you, your order cannot be cancelled or returned once it is placed. This exception to the statutory right of withdrawal for goods made to consumer specifications is recognised in the EU (Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(c)) and similar regulations worldwide.

2. Order Review & Lock‑In

Please review your inputs and delivery details carefully before paying. Once you press the checkout button, we immediately begin automated production and can no longer modify the content or delivery address.

3. Quality Guarantee & Remedies

If your book arrives with physical defects (e.g. mis‑binding, missing pages, severe colour banding) or obvious manufacturing errors, notify us within 14 days of delivery with photos, and we will, at our discretion, reprint or refund the affected copy. Minor colour variations or slight trimming tolerances that do not affect usability are not considered defects.

4. Production & Delivery Time

Estimated production is 3-5 business days; shipping times vary by destination. Delivery dates are non-binding estimates. We are not liable for delays caused by carriers, customs, force majeure, or events beyond our reasonable control.

5. Customs, Duties & Taxes

For deliveries outside Norway or the EU, you are the importer of record and responsible for all applicable customs duties, VAT/GST, or other taxes. Refusal to pay may result in the parcel being destroyed or returned; no refund will be given in such cases.

6. User‑Provided Content & Compliance

You confirm that you have all necessary rights to the text, images and data you upload and that your content is lawful in every jurisdiction where the book will be produced or delivered. You indemnify us against any third-party claims arising from the content you supply.

7. Intellectual Property & Licence

Your personalised book is for personal use only. Plyx retains all rights in the underlying AI models, templates and illustrations. By placing an order you grant us a non-exclusive licence to process, print and, where necessary for quality assurance or marketing, internally display excerpts of your book, in accordance with our GDPR policy.

8. AI Content Disclaimer

AI‑generated text or imagery may occasionally contain factual inaccuracies or unintended bias. You acknowledge that plyx.ai does not guarantee the factual correctness, legality, or fitness for a particular purpose of generated content.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to a purchased book is limited to the amount you actually paid for that book. We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive or consequential damages.

10. Governing Law & Consumer Rights

Unless mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence apply, these Terms are governed by, and interpreted under, the laws of Norway, and disputes shall be resolved by the courts of Oslo. Nothing in these Terms limits any non‑waivable consumer rights under the laws of your country.

11. Changes to These Terms

The version shown at the time you press the checkout button will apply to your order. We may update these Terms for future purchases at any time.
